Romantic Things You can do for Your Husband

Though a couples relationship doesn’t always replicate the ideal duos in the popular romantic movies, it can be quite an adventure filled with fun couple activities, romantic date nights, meaningful bonding and crazy things to do to help to bond your special relationship. That is, if you design it that way.

Enter…the Ultimate Couples Bucket List.

A rewarding relationship should be filled with experiences that create wonderful memories, bring you two closer together, make you laugh and nonverbally say “I love you”. Here are dozens of the best ideas to make sure you don’t get stuck in the monotony of the day to day routine and start bonding over exciting new adventures.

Parenting takes it's toll on a marriage. At best, we go into the family game with intentions of date nights and keeping the romance kindled with our partners. At worst, we don't even consider the strain that children can put on our relationships and are then blindsided by it later. Either way, every couple must face the truth that marriage requires effort, and having children amplifies that need enormously.

Alas, I can not tell you the perfect formula for keeping your marriage happy and healthy. I'm sorry about that. What I can tell you is that the formula includes selfless gestures from both parties, though. It may sound daunting to have to plan out ways to show your husband you've got his back, but it doesn't need to be. There are opportunities all day long, every day, to offer up simple acts of love. And once you get going, you will see those opportunities everywhere.

Grand gestures are all fine and lovely, but in this season of parenthood, the time they require is hard to come by. The little things we do daily are what will matter in the long run. And we have 100 of those little things here to get you started.

coffee husband and wife - 100 Sweet And Simple Things To Do For Your Husband - Mabel + Moxie

1. Make his morning coffee. If he is the one that starts the pot each morning, wake up five minutes earlier and start it. Better yet, set the timer on the coffee machine and wake up to the smell of fresh coffee together.

2. Since you're there, fill his cup of coffee in the morning. And go ahead and pour it in his to-go mug because you know he is going to be running out the door with no time to drink it.

3. Pack his lunch. Maybe your hubby has the capacity to think ahead and make his lunch the night before, and maybe he relies on Subway sandwiches on the daily. Packing his lunch for him will be a sweet surprise either way.

4.Let him sleep in, just once or twice, while you get up with the kids. As an avid believer that moms should get to stay in bed for as long as they want on weekends, I am not advising this all the time. But it's ok to give him just a taste of that sweet late morning wake up.

5. Take his car to be washed. Run your weekend errands in his car, and swing by the car wash while you're out. He will be excited to have a clean floor to fill with snack wrappers again.
